All bus routes will use AM emergency bus stops. Further decisions regarding PM bus routes, or potential closure, will be made in morning. Please use caution while traveling.

Afternoon routes will return to regular stops. Overnight temperatures are expected to drop below freezing and may create icing conditions, please use caution while traveling.

Ringwood's Schools are experiencing intermittent power, internet, and phone service. School schedules remain normal, there are no known hazards on any of our campuses, and we are working to overcome the weather-induced disruptions to technology. Dear Ringwood School Community, Day one of the 2023-2024 academic year is in the books. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to stop by each of our great Ringwood Schools and visit nearly every single classroom. What I saw was over 1,000 students eagerly attending to the instructions of their teachers on activities to start the year. Kindergarten was hard at work, right away, on the number “1.” I certainly found that fitting as the feeling across the district was a “first” for so many reasons for everyone. Today we may experience temperatures in the low 90s. Where some schools across the country are dismissing early, Ringwood is equipped for high temperatures with at least window units in classrooms. Principals will monitor temperatures and respond appropriately with indoor options and/or limit excessive activity if outdoor temperatures get too high. Thank you to Ringwood’s students, families, faculty, administration, and staff for making the start of the school year the wonderful and welcoming experience it absolutely should be.
