Dear Peter Cooper Families and Staff,
I am absolutely thrilled to begin my first year as Principal of Peter Cooper Elementary School! It is an honor to enter this next chapter and serve this amazing Ringwood community. I am excited to partner with our dedicated teachers, staff, and families to provide an excellent, inclusive education for every child.
My passion for elementary education runs deep. Before stepping into administration, I spent 15 years as a teacher. Those years working directly with students shaped my core educational philosophy: I believe in maintaining high expectations for our students, coupled with warmth, encouragement, and care. At Peter Cooper, we want our students to have a joyful, rich, and fulfilling school experience where they feel supported to reach their highest potential.
To share a bit about my background, I hold a BA in Writing Arts and a BA in Elementary Education from Rowan University, am a Certified Teacher of Reading, and earned my MA in Educational Leadership from Saint Elizabeth University. My leadership style is entirely relationship-driven, student-centered, and collaborative. You will find me highly visible and present in our classrooms, out at arrival and dismissal, and engaged in conversations throughout our school. I am always accessible and fully invested in our students’ growth.
Peter Cooper is a wonderful place to call home, and I am proud to serve our students, staff, and families. I am deeply committed to fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and joy, and I look forward to leading our school into its next bright chapter with purpose, heart, and care.
